Do I have to sent a proof of what I'm doing with my bitcoins to exchanges ?

I recently received a mail from my exchange where I bought a few BTC.
They are asking me to send a proof that I'm still the owner of my bitcoins. I think the sent me this mail because they have seen something wrong (I was using coinjoin, like a coinmixer).
I'm french, so, do I have to sent this proof ? My exchange is based in Estonia. Thx cyphers

Using Bitcoin to exchange currencies

I live in the US but do contract work for a business in Canada. They direct deposit CAD into my US bank and $500 gets cut from the conversion. Is there any way I can use Bitcoin to avoid that $500 cut or at least somehow lessen it?

Mt.Gox Trustee Moves Bitcoin to Exchange..

Hey guys,
Not trying to spread FUD but I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of what has been happening in the last few hours. About 16,000 BTC has been moved from Mt.Gox.. This could be an OTC sale which can then be dumped by someone else later on. Remember if this is a OTC and a price point was reached awhile ago (example 8k per BTC) and the new owner of the BTC want to wait till 10k or whatever number they have in mind to sell.... Then they will dump and take profit. This is simliar to what happened a few months ago. But that massive BTC sale is not what caused the overall crash. It was the sheep (your average Joe) panicking and pulling out their money ASAP. Be careful with your portfolio's and make sure you have stop losses enabled. I see a real possibility of another storm brewing but I hope that this is not the case. Still better to be informed then have your head in the ground and be shocked if your portfolio gets wrecked...

I have an idea how to reduce the fees when sending Bitcoin to exchanges

Let's assume that the user have 0.1 BTC in one of his addresses and he wants to deposit exactly 0.1 BTC to an exchange.
Instead of sending Bitcoin transaction (and pay a network fee) the user can give his private key for (only) this address to the exchange. The transaction will settle when another user withdraw BTC from the exchange.
If the user have more BTC on his address, he can specify a "change" address.
The exchange can implement transfers with multiple inputs and multiple outputs to reduce fees and make transactions one time per hour for example.
(Obviously this can be used only on "trusted" exchanges.)
